The project investigates the role of alpha-synuclein in regulating SNARE-mediated membrane fusion using reconstituted systems and recombinant proteins for in vitro analysis.
Techniques include transient kinetic fluorescence, isothermal titration calorimetry, single-molecule fluorescence, X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM.
