Job SummaryDr. Anel Jaramillo in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department in the College of Pharmacy is seeking a full-time, temporary, preclinical research technician position.
The primary responsibility will be to conduct general laboratory management and assist with research projects that examine the function of neural circuits regulating anxiety and alcohol-related behaviors. This includes but is not limited to, rodent care, stereotaxic surgery, brain dissections, tissue analysis, basic microscopy and behavioral data collection.
Additionally, the individual will maintain research space, manage general inventory, maintain safety documentation, maintain good laboratory practices, and a safe working environment according to standard procedures. No research experience is required.
