Job Description & How to Apply Below
* Prepare menu items according to Johnny Carino's recipes, plate presentations and specifications within cook time requirements
* Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by Guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions
* Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashers
* Complete all assigned prep work
* Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
* Set up work station
* Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
* Be a core team member in a fast-paced kitchen
Qualifications and Skills:
* Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
* Previous Line Cook or cooking experience preferred
Physical Demands:
* Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weight
* Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves
* Mobility required during the entire shift
* Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
