Jewelry Television - Bench Jeweler

At JTV the bench jeweler should be capable of producing quality jewelry repairs in a timely manner. The position requires skill in a variety of jewelry tasks including stone setting techniques, ring sizing, chain repair, re-tipping and rebuilding prongs. A bench jeweler may need to support other departments within the company. Jewelers should be proficient in inspecting gemstones, polishing and plating a variety of precious metals.

Communication with co-workers and management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. This position is located onsite at our company headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee and is not a remote work opportunity.

• Conduct jewelry repairs such as setting stones, reworking prongs, ring sizing and electroplating.
• Support Gem Store needs by inspecting jewelry pieces, handling special projects, and polishing jewelry.
• Assist in processing melt and stone sorting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Must be skilled in all areas of jewelry repair and stone setting.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Ability to multi-task.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
