The University of Kentucky is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join the College of Education
‘s administrative team.
This role helps transform financial, enrollment, and operational data into actionable insights that support planning, forecasting, and decision-making across the college. The successful candidate will work closely with college leadership, the Business Center, and campus partners to develop reporting solutions, improve business processes, and support data-informed strategies.
What You’ll Do- Analyze financial, enrollment, and operational data to identify trends and support strategic planning
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
- Prepare forecasts, reconciliations, projections, and financial analyses for college leadership
- Support tuition model development and enrollment-based planning initiatives
- Design and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and develop data solutions
- Support annual budget processes through reporting, analysis, and error identification
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance operations
- Strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data interpretation
- Expertise in Tableau, data visualization, and dashboard development
- Experience with workflow automation and process improvement tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate complex information in clear, actionable ways
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 years of related experience
