About this position

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Residential Sales & Design professional to join our team. This is a sales-first role—you will be responsible for building your own book of business, conducting in-home consultations, and presenting design solutions that close. You will work with a strong operational team behind you, but your success depends on your ability to prospect, earn trust quickly, and drive revenue independently.

If you're confident in your sales ability and hungry to build something, this is your opportunity. Experience in window treatments, flooring, or related home décor product lines is a plus, but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role (any industry considered)
  • Proven ability to prospect, build a pipeline, and close business independently
  • Knowledge of measuring and estimating (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Proficient in Windows PC applications with the ability to learn new systems
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting in-home consultations and closing transactions on-site
  • Existing book of business or referral network
  • Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and develop your own client base
  • Conduct in-home consultations, assess client needs, and present tailored solutions
  • Close sales and manage the client experience from initial contact through installation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail
  • Stay current on product lines, industry trends, and competitive offerings

What We're Looking For: As a Residential Sales & Design professional, you will use your design skills to create and present solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and work closely with our sales team. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service and design solutions.

Beyond that, we're looking for someone who is competitive, coachable, and hungry—a hunter who doesn't wait for leads to come to them. You're confident in your sales ability, you take ownership of your results, and you know that your income reflects your effort.

Compensation: $40,000-$150,000 annually.
