Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, South Indiana.
The Specialty Nutrition Systems, Long-Term Feeding Account Consultant will:
- Position and sell AVANOS Enteral Feeding products and solutions within Acute Care and Alternate Site accounts, maintaining and growing existing book of business.
- Validate product cost/value proposition and achieve year‑on‑year sales as per the AVANOS sales plan.
- Deliver technical and conceptual sales support, including product presentations, clinical bedside coaching, case support, pricing, and forecasting/reporting.
- Execute product demonstrations and in‑service training for Enteral Feeding tubes, accessories, placement kits, and related diagnostic and endoscopic products.
- Build relationships with decision‑makers in hospitals and alternative care sites such as DME companies, home health, skilled nursing facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, and rehabilitation facilities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure committed business at optimal margins.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership, specialty specialists, clinical education partners, and internal stakeholders to align regional strategies.
- Manage territory budget, sales support resources, and compliance with credentialing requirements.
- Participate in strategic planning and execution with the Region Manager.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B or healthcare sales experience.
- Demonstrated successful sales track record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Proficient with PC applications (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Assertiveness with a professional approach.
- Comfortable working in a hospital setting.
- Travel by car required.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
Preferred
- 5+ years of medical device sales experience.
- Experience selling capital equipment.
- Knowledge of Enteral Feeding products and related disease states.
- Ranked in the top 10% of sales force.
- Hospital sales experience.

The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $70,000.00–$, with eligibility for an incentive compensation program and benefits. The actual range may vary by location.
