About the Role
As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will drive new business growth and ensure customer success across your assigned territory. Your responsibilities include prospecting, in‑field sales, expanding existing accounts, managing the sales pipeline, onboarding customers, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value for US farmers.
Responsibilities- Prospecting new business in the state of Ohio and building a pipeline through outbound and inbound activities.
- Conducting in‑field sales visits on horseback, side‑by‑side, or by other means to present Halter’s virtual‑fencing solutions.
- Expanding existing opportunities through upsell and cross‑sell initiatives.
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets while managing the sales pipeline and forecasting.
- Managing customer accounts post‑sale, ensuring satisfaction and smooth hand‑off to onboarding and support.
- Owning the territory, building relationships with stakeholders at local, state, and federal levels.
- Gathering field learnings and customer feedback to influence product and sales strategy.
- Collaborating with support teams to resolve issues and maintain customer support.
- Attending industry events to generate leads and deepen relationships.
- Contributing to the US sales strategy and process optimization.
- Results‑driven attitude with strong communication skills.
- Understanding of ranching or cattle operations.
- Experience in sales and customer success, preferably in a B2B technology setting.
- Territory management experience within agriculture or technology.
- Problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment.
- Background in customer‑facing roles within agriculture technology.
- Annual USD $750 personal development budget.
