Position Summary
The Manager, Account Insights (Kroger) supports Constellation Brands’ business in the retail chain environment, developing fact‑based sales presentations, reports, and solutions. They collaborate with the Client’s Category Buyer and CBI retailer sales teams to provide insights, recommendations, and standardized reports that drive growth and defend brands.
Responsibilities- Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key account and National Account Directors & Managers.
- Collaborate with sales partners to determine account priorities and pursue impactful initiatives in distribution, programming, and analytics.
- Provide ad‑hoc reports requested by Merchant and Team Leads.
- Assist retailers with analysis, wine business insights, and support their goals aligned with CBI strategy.
- Participate in business planning meetings and conduct category and competitive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Share consumer insights and provide recommendations to drive synergies with the account.
- Leverage cross‑functional partners for insights and collaborate with Commercial Insights team members to ensure consistency.
- Develop compelling fact‑based analysis across the CBI portfolio, including depletion reporting, consumer insights, and promotional performance.
- Create templates for monthly scorecards and run ad‑hoc reports to support sales presentations and category management.
- Ensure required reports are completed accurately and on time; assist sales in category assortment analysis and selection performance reporting.
- Communicate Kroger priorities and activities to the broader sales organization and serve as the lead contact for Kroger ACV/Distribution and velocity insights.
- Support the sales team in fiscal planning, forecast process, and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; minimum 5 years of related experience acceptable.
- CPG experience, alcohol and beverage industry knowledge, and category management certification preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint) including pivot tables.
- Experience with syndicated data systems (Circana, Numerator, Kantar IQ, IRI, Nielsen, Retailer Loyalty).
- Demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to articulate verbally and in writing.
- Self‑motivated team player able to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
Must be at least 21 years of age, able to sit/stand for long periods and work on a computer for extended periods; lifting may be required.
LocationCincinnati, Ohio (additional locations possible).
Salary Range$88,700.00 – $ (subject to geographical market adjustments).
