National Mathematics Consultant

As a Math Content Specialist at Cengage School (CS), you will be responsible for engaging with our sales team, CS resources, and Pre‑K‑12 customers to promote our market‑leading print and digital solutions for our math products.

• Conduct sales presentations (in‑person, virtual, and pre‑recorded) focused on digital capabilities to secure selection of Cengage School solutions.
• Facilitate training sessions (live, virtual, and pre‑recorded) to ensure successful implementation of CS products in the K‑12 math classroom and drive usage of digital solutions.
• Serve as the digital expert on all platforms, providing internal digital training and support to sales teams.
• Research industry trends to anticipate changes that may impact current and future sales.
• Collaborate with sales teams on State and Local District submissions, ensuring all materials are complete and accurate.
• Review correlations, gather information, and provide input on competitive analysis and third‑party data.
• Collaborate, integrate, and communicate with Regional Managers, Sales Consultants, and other Content Specialists.
• Maintain a sales activity report to track progress toward the national sales quota.
• Champion math content to facilitate two‑directional flow of information between sales, marketing, and product.
• Travel approximately 50–70% of the time by both auto and air.

• Bachelor’s degree in education.
• Five (5) years of related experience in teaching, training, presenting, or selling, particularly within educational publishing and/or educational technology.
• Strong training and presentation skills.
• Evidence of strong customer orientation and ability to build effective relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for virtual and in‑person engagements.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video creation tools.

Base pay: $67,000.00 – $87,100.00 USD. Sales roles typically include an incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
