The Lexington Legends Professional Baseball Team are a proud member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. As we continue building a first‑class organization, we are seeking motivated, high‑energy individuals to join our Front Office in a seasonal Ticket Sales Assistant. This position is designed for driven sales professionals looking to gain hands‑on experience in professional sports while contributing directly to revenue growth and fan engagement.
Ideal candidates will bring a strong focus on customer service and salesmanship, along with energy, creativity, and confidence. We are looking to hire a maximum of three (3) individuals for this seasonal role. There is an opportunity for full‑time employment following the season based on performance and organizational needs.

Primarily aligned with the baseball season
Hours:
Must be available for all Legends home games Lexington Legends office hours 9a - 5pm Nights and weekends as needed Availability for community events and additional engagements as needed
- Execute consistent sales efforts focused on season tickets, group outings, and hospitality packages through lead generation, cold calls, and referrals
- Make a minimum of (50) outbound sales calls daily to new leads, past customers, and single‑game buyers
- Guide prospects through the full sales cycle to close business or secure appointments
- Build and maintain relationships through in‑person meetings, networking events, and community engagement
- Identify and develop new group sales opportunities within the Lexington market including youth sports, schools, and local organizations
- Create, promote, and execute group theme nights and ticket initiatives
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, partners, and clients at Legends games and events
- Assist with game day responsibilities and non‑baseball events at Legends Field
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer Responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs.
- Previous sales experience preferred (sports or ticket sales a plus)
- Strong communication skills and comfort with high‑volume outbound sales activity
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and competitive mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in sports or entertainment is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred but not required
