Account Manager; Sales Engineer

The Account Manager (Sales Engineer) is a full-time, on-site role based in Lexington, Kentucky.

SUMMARY :
Manufacturing company in Lexington, KY. Fabricates polyethylene and polyurethane foams for large industrial establishments. The Account Manager/Sales Engineer is responsible for providing support and service to existing customers, acting as a liaison between the customer and sales engineers.

Responsible for managing client accounts while supporting technical aspects of the sales process. This role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and technical needs, and presenting suitable solutions.

The Account Manager (Sales Engineer) will coordinate with internal teams to address client requirements, monitor account performance, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Daily activities include responding to client inquiries, generating and qualifying leads, preparing proposals, conducting product or service demonstrations, and providing ongoing account support. The role requires proactive follow-up, accurate documentation of interactions, and consistent alignment of client expectations with company capabilities.

Must have experience in either inside sales or outside sales, or as an account executive or account manager, preferably selling a product or taking orders from C-level executives for manufacturing.

Competitive salary plus benefits. No Commission or bonus at all because it's not a role that is responsible for generating new sales leads; it is a role to work with existing clients already in place.

Taking POs from small and large clients that come to us with their orders. About 50+ clients already in place that come to us with new orders.
