Responsibilities
- The Security Officer is responsible for protecting all company assets and associates.
- Oversee the physical security of the location, including monitoring the CCTV system, card access system, and burglar alarm system, and perform physical inspections and tours of the building as required.
- Monitor all building entry, ensuring visitors are properly documented, recorded, and escorted, while ensuring all employees are authorized for entry and providing assistance as necessary.
- Operate the metal detection entry/exit process for high security areas, monitoring policy and procedure compliance and detecting violations, and perform inspections of trash and discarded materials from all designated high security areas.
- Respond to building emergencies, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
