Available Shifts & Pay- Available
Shifts:
2nd, M-F 1:00pm-9:30pm - Pay Rate starting at: $25.00 - $28.00, depending on skillset and experience
- Additional $1.50 shift differential pay
Vehicle Technician C will work closely with an experienced technician to gain the knowledge and ability by performing maintenance and repairs on all types of customers’ vehicles and equipment, to perform job duties independently; learn to recognize potential problems that could result in mechanical failures and, or safety violations.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Basic knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance and ability to identify major components
- Basic electrical, mechanical diagnostics, and repair
- Knowledge and ability to mount and dismount tires
- Ability to diagnose and repair lights and wiring
- Must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards
- Professional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customers
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions to use tools, equipment, machinery and materials used to power, hand diagnostic tools, and operate material handling equipment
- Must be capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractors
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to vary the start and finish times, possibly including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills
- Each Technician needs to provide their own tools
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of relevant work experience
- D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification
