S&R Maintenance Worker Sr SALARY
The minimum salary is $21.168 per hour
. This position is eligible for overtime (non-exempt), if applicable. Pay Grade 515. This position is eligible for Hazardous Duty Supplemental Pay ($90/month, $0.52c/hour) and CDL pay ($1.08/hour) once obtained within the required first six (6) months of employment.

GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe purpose of this classification is to perform advanced skilled and semi-skilled labor tasks to maintain, repair, and improve streets, roads, and related public infrastructure in areas such as asphalt and concrete.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
- Performs complex manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, patching roads, installing and repairing curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Maintains, services, and conducts repairs on buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds
- Operates trucks and assorted power equipment and tools required for road and infrastructure maintenance
- Participates in traffic control setup and maintenance during construction and repair activities to safeguard workers and the public
- Create and maintain documentation of all work performed and all repairs completed
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs such as snow removal, storm damage, and road hazards
- Performs related work as assigned
All Certifications and licenses must be maintained as a condition of employment.
Valid Driver's License
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B and Endorsement N - Tank Vehicles within the first six (6) months of employment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned, special events, snow removal and during emergencies.
