Key Responsibilities

Onsite Install Responsibilities

Onsite Execution: Support day-to-day decisions on install sites — directing sequencing, resolving conflicts, adapting plans to site conditions, and making final calls on technical approach.

On-Site: Serve as an onsite point of contact for installation, commissioning, and handoff activities; represent the Projects & Installs team to venue contacts and contractors.

Full-Stack Technical Execution: Install, mount, wire, configure, and commission AV systems, control systems, sensors, actuators, lighting (DMX), PCs/tablets, and all networked devices.

Quality & Timeline Standards: Help maintain the pace and standard for onsite execution, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and timeline expectations throughout every phase of each install.

Pre-Install Preparation Assist

• Develop, own, and continuously improve technical checklists; stage and bench-test electronics; pre-configure control systems; assemble and label install kits; and verify spare parts and consumables ahead of every trip.

Props Pre-Wiring & Assembly

• Plan, build, and QA wiring assemblies and harnesses for props; produce and maintain wiring diagrams, labeling standards, and documentation to ensure repeatable, reliable builds across the team.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues during installs under tight timelines; perform bench repairs, component swaps, soldering/crimping, and firmware/configuration fixes to keep installs on track.

Project Management & Communication

• Create, update, and track tasks, timelines, and deliverables in the team's project management software; proactively communicate progress, risks, and onsite decisions to stakeholders and the broader Projects & Installs team.

Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain install inventories; label and pack transport-ready kits; update BOMs and spare lists; document install procedures, onsite decisions, and lessons learned to build institutional knowledge and improve future installs.

Client & Partner Coordination

• Liaise with internal design teams, project managers, venue contacts, and contractors to ensure smooth install workflows and successful handoffs; represent the team with confidence and professionalism in all onsite interactions.

Shipping and Staging Pre-Install

• Conducting final checks of shipments staged to ensure all aspects are onsite and planned out in an organized fashion.
