Electrical Foreman
The Electrical Foreman will work on new commercial construction projects, leading and performing electrical and cable installation tasks in commercial and industrial environments. This role focuses on conduit installation, cable pulling, and termination of lighting, panels, equipment, and control systems while ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Responsibilities- Install and run EMT, rigid, and PVC conduits from ½ inch to 4 inch, using both manual and power threading and bending equipment.
- Set up and pull cables and conductors through conduit using manual and powered methods.
- Install and terminate lighting fixtures and various wiring devices as directed.
- Perform electrical terminations on panels, equipment, and control systems in accordance with project requirements.
- Use power tools and equipment safely, following all safety and operational manuals.
- Follow directions from supervision and complete assigned tasks accurately and within required time frames.
- Support commercial new construction activities, including electrical and network cable work in commercial and industrial settings.
- Maintain and use personal tools appropriate for commercial electrical construction work.
- Adapt to project demands, including working overtime when required, even when not scheduled in advance.
- Contribute to a safe work site by adhering to all safety practices and properly using required PPE.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience performing electrical and network cable work in commercial and/or industrial environments.
- Proven experience in commercial construction, including bending conduit and pipe.
- Ability to run EMT, rigid, and PVC conduits from ½ inch to 4 inch using manual and power threading and bending equipment.
- Competence in setting up and pulling cables and conductors through conduit using manual and powered methods.
- Ability to install and terminate lighting fixtures and various wiring devices as directed.
- Skill in performing terminations on panels, equipment, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using power tools in accordance with safety and operational manuals.
- Ability to take direction from supervision and complete tasks in a timely and organized manner.
- Capability to work overtime when required, including occasions when overtime cannot be scheduled in advance.
- Ownership and use of appropriate personal tools for electrical construction work.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in new commercial construction environments.
- Comfort working in both commercial and industrial facilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a field construction team.
- No formal certifications required for this role.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based on new construction and commercial job sites, focusing on commercial and industrial environments. Work is performed on active construction projects where safety is a priority, and proper PPE is required, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe footwear, and a high-visibility vest. The position involves regular use of power tools, threading and bending equipment, and other standard electrical construction tools.
Work hours may include overtime, and additional hours may sometimes be required without advance scheduling, reflecting the demands of commercial construction projects.
This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
