Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P Mechanic)
Location: Lexington, KY
Are you passionate about aviation and take pride in a job well done? Air Mart, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, performance, and airworthiness of our diverse fleet of aircraft.
About the RoleAs an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you’ll work under the guidance of our Director of Maintenance and Senior IA, performing hands-on maintenance on aircraft owned by Air Mart. You’ll help keep our operations running smoothly and safely by ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest standards.
What We’re Looking For- FAA Certified A&P Mechanic
- Ability to safely operate an aircraft tug
- Eligibility to obtain an AOA badge (no felonies in the past 10 years)
- A Commercial Pilot License is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude and consistent attendance
- Integrity and personal pride in your work
- Curiosity and a drive to find solutions
- Respect for safety procedures and a tidy workspace
- Commitment to meeting deadlines
- Perform maintenance on multiple makes and models of aircraft
- Move aircraft as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized hangar and work environment
- Support overall maintenance operations and meet time-sensitive goals
