Automotive R&I Technician

Removes and installs light‑duty automotive body parts, panels, bumpers, interiors, mirrors, emblems, tail lights, and similar components as part of vehicle reconditioning. Works on routine maintenance and repair assignments in a fast‑paced environment.

• Review each order, including work‑order notes, to determine repair requirements before starting work.
• Perform the initial removal of assigned parts from the vehicle.
• Document labor time on the work order as tasks are completed.
• Review the work order and all completed repair items upon completion.
• Re‑assemble painted vehicle and painted parts.
• Report any equipment problems or failures to management immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Minimum 1 year of body‑repair experience.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and tolerance for repetitive motion tasks.
• Exposure to toxic chemicals and moderate noise; willingness to use required protective equipment.

Starting compensation: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience and geographic location.
