F6 is a rapidly growing HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing company supporting hyperscale data center infrastructure across the United States. With over 100 employees and continued exponential growth, our teams specialize in the startup, commissioning support, and troubleshooting of mission‑critical cooling systems designed by leading equipment manufacturers.

If you are a technician who enjoys mechanical systems, electrical controls, and learning how to troubleshoot equipment in the field, this role offers the opportunity to grow your technical skills while working alongside experienced field service technicians.
Startup Technicians support the startup and commissioning of cooling systems used in some of the largest data centers in the world.
Compensation & TravelPay: $34 – $38 per hour
Travel may be required depending on project assignment.

Startup Technicians assist with the startup, testing, and inspection of mission‑critical cooling systems used in hyperscale data centers. This is a hands‑on technical role where technicians gain real‑world experience working with large mechanical and electrical systems while developing troubleshooting skills.
Equipment Startup SupportAssist with startup activities for systems including:
- Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH)
- In‑Row Heat Exchangers (IRHX)
- Data Center Air Handling Units (DAHU)
- Verifying piping connections and mechanical installations
- Supporting commissioning test procedures
- Monitoring system pressures and temperatures during startup
- Assisting with equipment inspections and performance verification
- Documenting equipment readings and system performance
- Hydronic cooling systems
- Chilled water systems
- Glycol cooling loops
- Pumps and valves
- Air handling equipment
Startup Technicians assist with identifying mechanical issues and supporting troubleshooting efforts during system startup.
Electrical & Controls Responsibilities- Checking sensors and instrumentation
- Observing electrical troubleshooting procedures
Technicians will gain experience working with:
- VFD operation
- Building automation systems
- Participating in daily safety meetings
- Assisting senior technicians with startup activities
- Maintaining organized documentation and equipment records
- Supporting safe and efficient project execution
- Enjoy working with mechanical and electrical systems
- Have a strong interest in learning troubleshooting techniques
- Take initiative and ask questions
- Work well in team environments
- Take pride in improving their technical skills
Technicians who demonstrate strong troubleshooting ability and reliability have opportunities to advance quickly.
Required Qualifications- 1–3 years' experience working with HVAC, mechanical systems, or electrical systems
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read mechanical drawings or piping diagrams preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge including control circuits preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation required for local travel when applicable
