Foreman

This role oversees the wiring, assembly, and installation of electrical panels and motors based on technical prints and schematics for customer facilities across central Kentucky. You lead hands‑on field work, ensure accurate interpretation of blueprints, and support basic PLC‑related tasks to deliver reliable, high‑quality electrical installations.

• Wire and build electrical panels and motors from technical prints, blueprints, and schematics.
• Install electrical panels and motors at customer facilities throughout central Kentucky.
• Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and related documentation to complete projects accurately.
• Pull wire and route cabling in accordance with electrical codes and project specifications.
• Perform conduit bending and installation to support panel and motor wiring.
• Apply foundational PLC knowledge, including reading ladder logic, to support installation and basic troubleshooting activities.
• Assist with PLC installation and integration as needed for customer systems.
• Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with field teams and other trades on‑site to complete installations efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean, safe, and working condition.

• Proven ability to wire and build electrical panels and motors from prints, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong experience working with electrical systems, including low‑voltage installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and detailed schematics accurately.
• Hands‑on experience pulling wire and routing cabling in commercial or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in conduit bending and installation for electrical projects.
• Basic PLC knowledge, including the ability to read ladder logic diagrams.
• Understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and standard installation procedures.
• Journeyman‑level electrical experience, with a relevant electrical journeyman license preferred.

• Experience installing PLCs and related control equipment in field environments.
• Ability to perform basic PLC programming or troubleshooting is a strong plus.
• Background in electronics and low‑voltage electrical work.
• Comfort working from various types of technical documentation, including prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle for travel to customer sites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently in the field while coordinating effectively with team members.

This is a field‑based role with frequent work at customer facilities across central Kentucky. You work in industrial and commercial environments, performing hands‑on electrical installations that involve wiring panels and motors, pulling wire, and bending conduit. The position requires regular travel using a company vehicle and adherence to site‑specific safety rules and electrical codes. You use standard electrical tools, test equipment, and documentation such as blueprints and schematics, and you may occasionally work with PLC hardware and ladder logic in active control systems.

This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
