We are currently seeking applications for a KHP Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This position will perform the work in the following duties installing, repairing and maintaining air conditioning; heating; ventilationand electrical and plumbing systems.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, work well with a team and be highly motivated to get the job done.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Installs, repairs and maintains the air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation and electrical and plumbing systems
• Monitors the mechanical and plumbing systems to ensure proper operations
• Inspects and checks the working performance of equipment according to specifications
• Keeps basic records of work performed on such systems
• Other duties as assigned or needed

Upon employment, employees in this job classification may be required to maintain avalid driver's license and may be required to drive a licensed vehicle. This status may be necessary for thelength of time in this job classification. If this is necessary, it will be listed in the specific position description for the position licants and employees in this job classification may be required to submit to a drug- screening test and background check.

  Two years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration,ventilation, or electrical systems.

Incumbents working in this job title are required to lift heavy objects, bend,stoop and have good manual and finger dexterity. Incumbents in the job will typically perform their job duties under theseconditions. May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.
