In this hands-on role, you'll work on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and machinery, including semi-trucks, buses, and construction equipment, utilizing advanced diagnostic technology and your technical expertise to perform repairs and preventative maintenance.

What You'll Do- Inspect diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulic systems, and other critical components using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and extend vehicle life.
- Repair, rebuild, and overhaul diesel engines according to manufacturer specifications.
- Service and repair complex systems, including transmissions, air brakes, hydraulic components, and electrical systems.
- Analyze fault codes and performance data to accurately identify root causes and verify repairs.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
- Conduct post-repair inspections and testing to ensure equipment meets performance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards while working around heavy equipment and diesel systems.
- Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines, trucks, or heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and repair procedures.
- Ability to use diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment.
- Experience servicing transmissions, air brake systems, and hydraulic components.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working on semi-trucks, buses, construction equipment, or other heavy-duty machinery.
- Familiarity with industry-standard diesel diagnostic software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.
- Diesel certifications or vocational training are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

This position may be based in a shop, field service, or hybrid maintenance environment. You'll work with diesel-powered vehicles and heavy machinery using specialized diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools. The role requires standing, bending, lifting, and working around large equipment while following established safety protocols and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
