Superintendent - Electrical Construction

The Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced Superintendent in Lexington, Kentucky for our client, an electrical contractor supporting construction projects across multiple market sectors. This electrical construction superintendent opportunity is designed for a field leader who can coordinate electricians, maintain high safety and quality standards, and keep project activities moving efficiently. The Superintendent serves as a key connection between field teams, project management, and clients.

You'll provide day-to-day leadership while helping ensure electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable regulations and project expectations.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and supervise electricians in the field, reinforcing project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Coordinate electrical assignments, including installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and help field personnel troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Conduct regular work-site inspections and reinforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Work closely with project managers and clients to support successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, equipment records, and inspection reports.
• Train and mentor field technicians, providing coaching and development where skill gaps are identified.
• Stay current with electrical codes, regulations, and relevant industry developments.

What You Bring:

You'll bring proven experience in electrical field service or a related electrical construction environment, along with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Successful candidates should have excellent leadership and communication skills and be comfortable supervising and motivating field teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are important, as is the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, electricians, and other stakeholders.

An active electrical journeyman's or master's license is preferred but not required. The role also requires flexibility to work varying hours when project needs require it.
