Overview
Amteck is currently looking to add Electricians for our project in Chester, VA. We offer long-term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401K.
ResponsibilitiesAs an electrician you will be required to install conduit, wire and cable systems as needed, read and interpret blueprints, install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment, troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems. After completion you may move to another project within Amteck and diversify your skill set with low voltage, fire alarm, controls and instrumentation trainings, as well as learning other systems within Amteck.
Qualifications- 5+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
- Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems
- OSHA
10 preferred but not required
