  • Assist in supervising, supporting, and training technicians
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and productive shop environment
  • Work closely with the General Manager to keep service operations running smoothly and efficiently
Take Care of Our Customers
  • Serve as a key point of contact for service customers from the beginning to the end of their service experience
  • Listen to customer concerns and help determine their service and repair needs
  • Provide professional, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service
  • Stay current on new mobility products, features, and accessories and communicate their benefits to customers
Keep Work Moving

  • Assist with service scheduling to help maximize shop productivity and billed hours
  • Coordinate with the Office Administrator and General Manager regarding parts, scheduling, and customer needs
  • Assist with inventory control, including organization, audits, ordering, receiving, and shop supplies
  • Ensure parts are properly accounted for and available to technicians when needed
  • Work with the General Manager to prepare used vehicles for sale
Step In as a Technician When Needed

This may include:

  • Diagnosing mechanical or equipment issues
  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing adaptive mobility equipment
  • Working with driving aids, restraint systems, wheelchair lifts, and other mobility equipment
  • Completing repairs and installations according to company and National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) standards
  • Documenting problems, repairs, and corrective actions accurately
Qualifications What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of automotive industry experience
  • High school diploma; additional education or technical training is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities, and people at the same time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A team-oriented attitude and the ability to lead with professionalism, tact, and respect
  • A commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience
Physical & Work Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Candidates should be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may involve occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, shop noise, and typical automotive service environments. Limited travel to other locations may occasionally be required.

Bring Your Experience. Lead a Team. Make an Impact.

At Superior, the vehicles and equipment we service aren't just about transportation—they help give our customers freedom, mobility, and independence.
