Job Overview
Driver/operator of company vehicles, providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and performs related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or GED.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person.
- Good human relations and communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Non-covered safety‑sensitive position. Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
