Position:
Forklift Operator

Shift: Weekend Monday & Friday 6am - 4pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am - 6pm

Pay: $18.90 + 2.00 Shift Differential

Production and material handling, primarily operating sit-down Counterbalance and Electric Pallet Jack. Attend to loading and unloading duties and maintain equipment reliability.

Ideal candidate will possess skills and experience in Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handler, Loader/Unloader, Equipment Operator, Reach truck, Dock Stocker.

First preference will be given to those with sit-down Counterbalance and Electric Pallet Jack experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Stand-Up, Clamp or Reach Truck is also a plus. A minimum of 6 months experience using a commercial WMS (Warehouse Management System) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is preferred.

Role Purpose

Our Forklift Operators move stock within the warehouse, load and unload shipments of various sizes, and may use stand-up, sit-down, clamp forklifts or electric pallet jacks. Our team‑oriented, fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment requires reliable operation of all assigned equipment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment – 80% of shift.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the correct number and types are loaded.
  • Maintain records and reports for inventory accuracy.
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Verify load accuracy; check load count, stability, and product damage, report variances.
  • Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source.
  • Keep equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Complete daily inspection of equipment.

    Perform other duties as assigned.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift‑training program within first 30 days.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
  • Six months warehouse experience (preferred).
  • Six months forklift operation experience.
