Local Delivery Driver - Home Daily | $1,440+ Weekly

Location: Corinth, KY

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Dispatch 6:00 AM

4-Day Work Week Available + Overtime: Yes

Additional Requirements & Responsibilities

Our CDL‑A Drivers are responsible for driving a tractor‑trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local routes, delivering and/or unloading food and food‑related products to customers in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Drivers must communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co‑workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.

They must function as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform all required safety checks (e.g., pre‑post trip) including inspections of tractor, truck and trailer according to DOT regulations; ensure vehicles meet company safety standards and take appropriate action, reporting all safety issues and/or required repairs.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Immediately report all safety hazards and inspect the trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
  • Perform a count check of items, verify customer invoices for loaded products, and complete all required loose‑load paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Move the tractor to the loading dock and attach any pre‑loaded trailer as needed.
  • Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the predetermined route schedule, unloading products from the trailer and transporting items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Perform damage control checks on items, scan and contact the supervisor about removing orders according to company policy, verify delivery of items with the customer and obtain proper signatures, and collect money (cash or checks) where required.
  • Load customer returns onto the trailer, secure the doors, and ensure that the tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.
  • Unload damaged goods and customer returns, bring them to the driver check‑in and complete necessary paperwork, and unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
  • Complete the daily record of hours of service and enter the log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required; at the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.

1+ years driving tractor‑trailer experience.

Valid CDL‑A, Must be 21+ years of age.

Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
