Class A Delivery Driver – Perry, OH
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 per year.
Shift: Monday‑Friday, 4:00‑6:00 am (1 overnight per week).
Location: 30300 Emerald Valley Pkwy, Glenwillow, OH 44139.
- Drive tractor‑trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for delivery and unloading of food and food‑related products.
- Perform all required safety checks, including pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
- Inspect trailers to ensure proper loading and securing of freight.
- Verify delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures; collect payment where required.
- Maintain required paperwork, log hours of service, and complete daily records in accordance with Federal DOT, state and company requirements.
- Complete general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock areas; keep trailers clear and clean.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
- Unload products from trailers, transport items into designated customer storage areas.
- Conduct damage control checks on items, sort and contact supervisor regarding orders per company policy.
- Secure freight and lock trailer doors upon completion, and transport customer returns to driver check‑in.
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach pre‑loaded trailer as needed.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- 6+ months commercial driving experience.
- Valid CDL‑A, 21+ years of age.
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
- Pass post‑employment drug test and criminal background check.
- Pass road test.
- Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card.
- Ability to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight between 10‑35 lbs. and up to 60‑90 lbs.
