SERVPRO Team Phillips/Smith is seeking a dependable, organized, and versatile Class A CDL Driver to support our restoration and construction operations. This position plays a critical role in keeping job sites running efficiently by transporting trailers, equipment, and materials throughout the day in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker who can adapt quickly as priorities shift, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and safely operate equipment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver and transport box trailers, dump trailers, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
- Turn dump trailers at local landfills as needed to support ongoing operations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Safely secure and transport loads in compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely support of job site needs
- Adapt to changing schedules and priorities throughout the workday
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, trailers, and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues with trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Assist with loading, unloading, and general operational support as needed
- Perform warehouse and other various tasks to support our business as needed
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers or similar machinery preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Ability to lift, load, and move materials as required
- Experience hauling dump trailers or construction-related equipment
- Familiarity with landfill operations and trailer turnaround procedures
- Restoration, construction, or demolition industry experience
- Skid steer or heavy equipment operating experience
This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires flexibility to support emergency response and restoration operations. Daily responsibilities may change frequently depending on operational needs. This role is not a driving only position. It involves many physical tasks that are essential to the driver role.
