Shipping Receiving Assistant

Staffmark is looking for a reliable Shipping Receiving Assistant to help keep our warehouse operations running smoothly . You'll handle inventory counts, shipping and receiving tasks, and work closely with multiple teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Pay: $22-$23/hr

Shift Availability: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM (1-2 hours OT possible daily) | Every other Saturday required

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and adjustments in JDE
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including ASNs and Bills of Lading
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Schedule and expedite shipments; manage Kanban distribution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues
• Support physical inventories and continuous improvement efforts
• Apply shipping labels, process customer orders, and manage backorders

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse roles
• Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE preferred) and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
• Valid driver's license required after conversion
• Able to work independently and on-site full-time
