Order Selector Operator - Outbound

Summary

As an MHE Operator at Galls, you will be responsible for all aspects of restocking shelves and storage areas, ensuring a continuous supply of inventory for order fulfillment while operating warehouse equipment like cherry pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and scanners.

• Ensure Order Accuracy Prior to shipping for all Outbound "Tasks".
• Communicate with Team Lead/Supervisor regarding all problems and needs.
• Develop and relay improvements to Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Record, Calculate, Enter, and Sort Data into spreadsheets.
• Ensure all outbound tasks are completed according to Department procedures.
• Examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Ensure Department's work area is clean, neat and organized each day (i.e., boxes, bins, sweeping, and all trash). Daily paperwork is filed neatly and is organized according to Department procedures.
• Assist Inbound team members with resolving problems.
• Count, research and monitor activity of merchandise by product number and location.
• Communicate with members of other Departments as needed to process orders to meet DC Goals.
• Assist in training, cross-training and development of members of the Outbound team.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment to include Fork, Order Selector, Walkie and Pallet Jack.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other duties may be assigned.

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on occasional basis.
• Familiar with WM and RF environment preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to sustain excessive walking/standing for majority of shift.
• Ability to sustain extensive bending/lifting/reaching for majority of shift.
