Inventory Specialist​/Inventory Clerk

Job Summary

The Inventory Specialist will be an integral member of the inventory program, overseeing processes for a large-volume, small-part inventory, organizing data, and employing a continuous improvement mindset.

• Track all inventory used by contractors for running WiFi cables to bury fiber, including splitters, construction materials, vaults, markers, and other supplies.
• Label and place inventory on contractor sites, covering buildings and small on‑site warehouses.
• Verify stock information and unit identification numbers; inventory and audit equipment and parts.
• Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production.
• Receive units using RF handheld devices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform cycle counts and audits according to company policies.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to prioritize workflow.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Flexibility in schedule.
• Computer and Excel skills are a plus.
