Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.
- Previous machine operation experience preferred
- Rebar, metal fabrication, construction, or heavy labor experience preferred
- Overhead crane experience is a plus
- Stable work history and resume required
- Load metal rods of various sizes into rebar machines to cut, bend, and form rebar to specifications
- Move, organize, and stage raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using an overhead crane when needed
- Strap and bundle finished rebar products for storage and shipment
- Verify correct sizes and quantities are processed according to work orders
- Follow safety procedures while operating machinery and handling materials
- Lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the shift
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Report equipment issues and safety concerns to management
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Rebar Warehouse Worker.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
