Senior Manager Accounting

A publicly traded medical device company is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team in Lexington, MA. This position will report to the Corporate Controller and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general accounting, and month‑end close activities while managing a team of accounting professionals.

$150K–$175K base + bonus + equity (potential flexibility for the right candidate)

This is a full‑time, hybrid position with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

• Manage accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions
• Develop, mentor, and train accounting staff
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting activities
• Support payroll processing, expense reporting, and compliance activities
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation
• Track and report debt compliance requirements
• Support tax compliance activities with external advisors
• Participate in budget and forecasting activities
• Collaborate on SEC reporting, revenue recognition, and SOX compliance processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior staff management experience required
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience preferred
• CPA preferred
• Public company and SOX compliance experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• SAP experience preferred
