We are seeking a compassionate and organized second shift Front Desk Associate to join our team at a vibrant senior living community, where you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing exceptional service and support.
Regular Schedule (34.5 hours per week):
Pay Range: $21 - $24 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Receive and follow reception schedule/instructions from the Director of Community Living & Outreach.
- Answer telephone; determine nature of call, and direct caller to appropriate individual or department.
- Greet and direct guests and/or visitors to appropriate apartment or office.
- Receive and coordinate distribution of packages and mail.
- Respond to emergencies, fire alarms, and provide fire alarm panel readings in a timely manner.
- Assist residents with work requests and input resident work requests.
- Update electronic tracking at Front Desk including absences and billing for postage, fax and guest suite.
- Respond to Resident inquiries using Calendar of Events, Resident Guide and Internet.
- Assist with administrative duties as directed.
- Create and maintain a calm and positive atmosphere of warmth and personal interest.
- Utilize the ESL system and print all necessary reports to ensure proper functionality of the system.
- Communicate resident concerns/suggestions to Director of Community Living & Outreach.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure resident rights are protected.
- Report all unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Availability to work as part of a 365‑day operation, including holidays and weekends, is required.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in an elder care setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to resolve issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
