• The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and targeted support to students within a collaborative high school setting.
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans, monitor and assess student progress.
• Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to promote both academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
• Serve as maternity leave coverage from April through July, with a focus on meaningful, short-term impact.

• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification
• Eligible to teach in MA through DESE
• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's preferred
• Designs and delivers individualized instruction for students with disabilities
• Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development
• Classroom experience Monday through Friday, structured setting
• Experience with students who are nonverbal, on the autism spectrum, prone to tantrums, runners, or wheelchair bound preferred
