Multi-Program Hot Work Instructors must hold a current and valid Hot Work Instructor license. Instructors certify students across multiple program areas in Hot Work safety. Responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling training sessions, delivering course instruction, processing certification orders, and maintaining accurate documentation for all students who complete the course.
This is a grant‑funded stipend position, contingent on the availability and funding of Perkins.
Major Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule Hot Work training sessions across multiple program areas.
- Deliver comprehensive course instruction in accordance with program standards and safety requirements.
- Schedule make‑up sessions as needed.
- Certify students upon successful completion of Hot Work training.
- Order and manage student certification materials.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all completed courses and student certifications.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Career and Technical Education.
- Self‑motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experienced in developing and providing training opportunities for students and staff.
- Effective communication skills in writing, in person, via email, and by telephone.
- Interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.
- Grant‑funded stipend position, contingent on availability of Perkins funding.
