Multi-Program OSHA 10-Hour Construction Instructors must hold a current and valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction Instructor license. These instructors are responsible for certifying students across multiple program areas in OSHA-10 Construction. Responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling training sessions, delivering course instruction, processing certification orders, and maintaining accurate documentation for all students who complete the course.
This is a grant funded stipend position, contingent on the availability and funding of Perkins, with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.
Major Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule OSHA 10-Hour Construction training sessions across multiple program areas.
- Deliver comprehensive course instruction in accordance with program standards and safety requirements.
- Schedule make-up sessions as needed.
- Certify students upon successful completion of OSHA 10-Hour Construction training.
- Order and manage student certification materials.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all completed courses and student certifications.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Career and Technical Education.
- Self-motivated; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experienced in developing and providing training opportunities for students and staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, through email and on the telephone.
- This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.
- Grant-funded stipend position, contingent on the availability of Perkins funding.
