Job DescriptionCotting is seeking a compassionate Job Coach to provide intensive, individualized support to our students at off-campus work and community sites. This pivotal role focuses on developing functional vocational skills, fostering independence, and facilitating meaningful community integration for students who require significant levels of assistance to achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) and transition goals. What You'll Do:
- Provide highly individualized and consistent supervision and instruction to students with severe special education needs, ensuring their safety and progress at all times in community and vocational settings.
- Facilitate transportation to and from off‑campus worksites, often assisting with mobility as needed.
- Meticulously understand and implement each student's specific medical, behavioral, communication, and educational protocols (including positive behavior support plans), maintaining current knowledge of their comprehensive student information.
- Collaborate extensively with the Transition Specialist, Vocational Coordinator and the multidisciplinary IEP Team (including therapists, behavior specialists, and medical staff) to adapt job tasks, implement assistive technology, and design highly individualized vocational activities.

Transition Specialist
- Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree or related experience; high-level knowledge of SPED, IEPs, health and safety protocols, and various adaptations needed for students with disabilities; excellent problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills; ability to complete training in med‑delegation and possess comfort in related responsibilities.
- At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
