Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer

Overview

The group is seeking a Systems Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer to assist in developing our existing codebases for physics and electronic warfare modelling. These MATLAB codebases allow for modelling of sensors, weapons, and electronic warfare capabilities.

• Independently add features and capabilities to the existing MATLAB codebase, accurately modeling basic physics phenomenology in terms of RF propagation, electronic warfare, missile flyouts, and sensors.
• Perform quality control on new features and the existing codebase, adding unit tests and other capabilities to ensure accurate results and proper interaction with the codebase.
• Work with the team to understand which new features are required to support analysis.
• Take responsibility for overall software architecture and quality control of the codebase, deciding how new features should be added.
• Perform modeling runs needed for analysis and build tools that allow for efficient batch runs and analysis of results.

Two‑year contract with the possibility of extension based on budget and performance.

Candidates must have an active secret clearance to be considered for this position.

Lexington, MA 02421 – onsite, 5 days a week.

The first round will be a Zoom interview with the hiring manager, followed by in‑person interviews with the group leader and key team members. Candidates should expect a technical interview.

Pay Range: $75–$100 an hour

24 months

Active Secret clearance required.
