40. Pay Range: $61,880 - $92,560 USD.
The Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) works with TD Wealth prospects and clients to attract and retain clients by addressing their wealth management advisory needs. The FAA analyzes financial information, including income, cash flow, assets and liabilities, to understand short‑ and long‑term goals. The FAA advises on investment and insurance strategies, builds a client base, and provides ongoing consultation, communication, and account servicing.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze client financial information and recommend tailored investment and insurance strategies.
- Build and maintain client relationships, providing ongoing consulting and annual reviews.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for TD Wealth clients.
- Meet quarterly and annual performance objectives.
- Use Salesforce, Money Guide Pro, and other authorized software to track client engagement.
- Ensure all new clients receive a complete onboarding experience, including discovery, financial needs analysis, and documentation.
- Provide coaching to Retail and Small Business staff and maintain continuous client communication.
- Identify enterprise opportunities and engage partners across the organization.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and firm policies, including OCC, SEC, and state insurance regulations.
- Meet continuing education requirements and uphold TD Bank & TD Wealth policies.
- Develop a positive team environment, mentor new FAAs, and support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Represent TD Wealth professionally in the community and support charitable initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of relevant financial services experience or completion of the FAA Trainee program.
- Licensure: SIE & Series7 required; L&H & Series
66 (or equivalent) or ability to obtain within licensing schedule. - Self‑directed with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and consultative sales experience.
- Ability to partner effectively across departments and travel within assigned market five days a week.
- Understanding of wealth‑management business development techniques and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with OCC and FINRA regulations and policies.
- Willingness to meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Perform sedentary work continuously.
- Operate standard office equipment continuously.
- Stand occasionally; walk occasionally; lift/carry under 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Other tasks: bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing – occasional.
