Staffing Coordinator – Caregiver Recruitment & Training
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (Onsite; potential hybrid flexibility)
Compensation: $65-70K
Role SummaryA well‑established, privately operated home care and memory care provider is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to lead caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts. This role is focused on building a high‑quality, reliable caregiver team — not simply filling shifts. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in recruiting, relationship management, and team development within a healthcare or human services environment.
You will partner closely with operations and scheduling teams to anticipate staffing needs, strengthen caregiver engagement, and ensure caregivers are well‑prepared to deliver compassionate, professional care.
Key Responsibilities Caregiver Recruitment & Hiring- Source, interview, and hire qualified caregivers who meet organizational standards
- Assess candidates for professionalism, reliability, and interpersonal strengths
- Build relationships with training programs, schools, and referral sources
- Ensure all licensing, background checks, and credentialing requirements are met
- Lead caregiver orientation and onboarding processes
- Support initial training with emphasis on dementia care and client‑centered service
- Prepare caregivers for successful client placements
- Serve as a key point of contact and advocate for caregivers
- Promote a supportive, respectful, and team‑oriented culture
- Partner with leadership on performance feedback and employee recognition
- Maintain accurate caregiver records and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with scheduling to anticipate current and future staffing needs
- Participate in shared on‑call coverage 1–2 times per month
- Experience in recruiting, staffing coordination, or employee training (healthcare preferred)
- Background in home care, senior care, or human services strongly valued
- CNA, HHA, or familiarity with caregiver roles preferred
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
