We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to support analytical testing, laboratory operations, and GMP documentation within a fast‑paced biopharmaceutical environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical experience, excellent documentation practices, and the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform analytical testing for GMP and non‑GMP release and stability samples.
+ Complete and maintain accurate cGMP documentation (electronic and paper-based) in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
+ Support daily laboratory operations, including reagent preparation, routine instrument calibration, and general lab maintenance.
+ Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents and materials; initiate ordering to ensure uninterrupted operations.
+ Conduct GMP data review, compliance checks, data scanning, and trend analysis.
+ Assist with method qualification activities for analytical methods used internally and with external contract testing laboratories.
+ Draft, review, revise, and execute protocols, reports, test methods, and SOPs.
+ Coordinate sample management activities, including sample shipment, receipt, log‑in, and inventory control.
+ Foster and maintain a safe laboratory working environment by proactively identifying and resolving safety concerns.
Required Qualifications
+ MS with 3+ years, or BS with 5+ years, of experience in analytical development or quality control within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
+ Hands‑on experience with protein analytical techniques, including:
+ SEC‑HPLC
+ CE‑SDS
+ icIEF
+ ELISA
+
Experience with peptide mapping and N‑glycan analysis is a strong plus.
+ Proficiency with laboratory software such as Empower, Compass, and Soft Max for testing and data analysis.
+ Demonstrated experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment, including accurate cGMP documentation.
+ Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
+
Experience with LIMS for sample tracking and data management.
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule based on program priorities.
+ Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment; proactive, resourceful, and organized.

This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
