This is a general IT support position for Group 99. Duties will include installing, updating, maintaining and troubleshooting all necessary software products required to operate PCs, laptops, and servers. Operating systems supported include Windows 11, MacOS, Linux and ESXi. Common applications include Microsoft Office, Acrobat, and Matlab. In addition to OS and software support, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with hardware to include Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, printers, and serial devices.

If time permits, the candidate may be asked to support tasks related to the design, implementation and test of IT systems that meet real-world DoD needs operationally.

• Install, update, maintain and troubleshoot software across Windows, MacOS, Linux, and ESXi environments.
• Provide OS and application support for Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Matlab, and related tools.
• Work with hardware such as NAS devices, printers, and serial devices.
• Assist with tasks related to design, implementation, and testing of IT systems to meet DoD operational needs.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision; participate in daily stand-up check-ins.

• Enrolled in an accredited college co-op program
• At least one year of direct IT experience in a professional or home environment
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows 11, MacOS, and Linux) and common applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Basic understanding of networking (DHCP, static IPs, etc.)

Previous completion of at least one year of schooling with an Information Technology or Computer Science background.

Compensation for 2025 (will be reviewed for 2026)

• Technical Co-Op: $24.50 - $31.00 per hour (based on year in school)
• Administrative Co-Op: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour (based on year in school)

Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
