REMOTE Solutions Architect

Location: Remote but must be within 100 miles of Lexington, MA; onsite one day a week (Wednesdays).
Clearance Level: Must obtain an Interim/Active Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

About the Role

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to support one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The Architect will have deep experience in Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and Systems Engineering, plus Model‑Based Systems Engineering and ARAS Innovator integration.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead successful customer deployments of Aras Innovator solutions
  • Lead the technical implementation team through planning, elaboration, design, construction, and transition of solutions that exceed customer requirements
  • Demonstrate technical leadership, organizational skills, and negotiation with key customer stakeholders
  • Lead a technical implementation team in all aspects of solution deployment
  • Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, build consensus across stakeholders for timely and successful delivery aligned to business value
  • Develop conceptual solution architecture using standard and custom applications for end‑to‑end customer solutions
  • Lead or support development of requirements specifications, use cases, and functional specifications
  • Perform solution analysis and develop customer‑facing proposals; contribute to proposals/Statements of Work
  • Transform customer requirements to technical solutions via Aras Innovator suite
  • Lead or participate in Proof of Concept engagements at key prospects
  • Provide input to the professional services team on methodology and tools
  • Assign tasks to project members and review work products for accuracy and consistency
  • Professionally interact and communicate with customers and internal team members
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years PLM deployment experience
  • 3+ years full‑time ARAS Innovator PLM solution development
  • Proven track record in leading large enterprise PLM software deployments as Architect
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient with data modeling techniques, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office products. Experience installing and configuring SQL Server, SQL scripting, triggers, stored procedures, and functions
  • Proficient with web programming languages: C# (.NET), JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL
  • Strong understanding of large‑scale enterprise application deployment methodologies; experience leading Agile/Scrum teams
  • Ability to write clear, understandable requirements, SOWs, specifications, and use cases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive, consumer products, high‑tech electronics, aerospace, or shipbuilding verticals
  • Industry knowledge of engineering change processes, phase gate PM, quality systems, DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, manufacturing process planning, CMII change management
  • Experience with data migration techniques from legacy systems
