Cloud Security Architect

As a Cloud Security Architect on our team, you’ll design and implement a secure cloud‑based, mission‑critical system. Your role will involve recommending tools and capabilities based on research of the current environment and knowledge of on‑premises, cloud‑based, and hybrid resources to address the Risk Management Framework (RMF). You will work closely with the Air Force to ensure standards are met with information assurance and security requirements, and you will mentor tomorrow’s cloud security experts while employing the latest cloud technologies to secure warfighter systems.

• 2+ years of experience evaluating the compliance of a system using RMF
• Experience deploying, configuring, or maintaining a government‑approved security suite of cyber‑security tools and methods
• Experience evaluating and recommending cloud services, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and enhance system capabilities to government organizations
• Experience writing in IaC tools such as AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform to streamline deployments, provisioning, and configuration management
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8140 Certification, such as CompTIA Security+

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience using Confluence or Jira
• Intermediate‑level Cloud Computing Certification such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified AWS Solutions Architect, or Dev Ops Engineer Certification

Salary for this position is projected to be $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
