Position: Licensed Nurse (Resident Health)

Location: Lexington, MA Job :208 # of Openings:1

We are seeking afull-time Licensed Nurse to participate in the case management and direct care of residents to assure excellence in the delivery of health services.

Pay Range:
  • LPN: $34 - $40 Hourly
  • RN: $45 - $52 Hourly
Schedule:
  • Day Shift with every other weekend
  • Typical shift: 8:30am-5pm during the week and 8:00am-4:30pm on weekend
  • Hours:

    40 hours, 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in daily plan of care meetings.
  • Participate in the development and execution of a written plan of care.
  • Make resident visits as per plan of care to observe and evaluate the resident’s physical and emotional status.
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
  • Obtain sputum, urine and other lab tests as ordered. Take TPRs, blood pressures, etc., as necessary. Participate in completing treatments as per physician order.
  • Ensure that all residents are treated fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect, ensuring person centered care.
  • Consult with the resident's physician in planning resident care, treatment, rehabilitation, etc., as necessary.
  • Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.
  • Meet with residents, and/or family members, as necessary.
  • Respond to emergency calls to Residential apartments.
Qualifications:
  • Hold current nursing license in Commonwealth of Massachusetts (LPN or RN).
  • Experience working in a nursingsetting with the elderly preferred.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to provide compassionate care required.
  • Must be able to show compassion, understanding, and patience when dealing with residents.
