About the RoleSupport the development and preclinical evaluation of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) systems for nucleic acid delivery. This laboratory-based role focuses on LNP formulation, characterization, stability, and in vitro evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and characterize nucleic acid-loaded LNPs at small to mid-scale using microfluidics, with emphasis on reproducibility, scalability, and product quality.
- Conduct LNP stability studies and evaluate critical formulation parameters to support formulation optimization.
- Support ligand conjugation and advanced analytical characterization of targeted LNP systems.
- Perform mammalian cell culture and in vitro assays, including potency, uptake, and viability assessments.
- Plan, execute, document, analyze, and communicate experimental results through reports, presentations, and team discussions.
- Master’s degree with approximately 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD with 1–3 years of relevant experience, in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, bioengineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with LNP formulation and characterization, including small- to mid-scale microfluidic formulation.
- Experience with analytical techniques such as dynamic light scattering, fluorescence-based nucleic acid assays, chromatography, or related methods.
- Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based in vitro assays.
- Strong experimental documentation, data analysis, scientific communication, and ability to work independently within laboratory procedures and SOPs.
- $39/hr. on w2
- Final compensation within the posted range will depend on qualifications, experience, and interview results.
